Class Information

My
period for make-up work or tudoring will be during lunch.

Tardies,
dress code and student IDs will
be strictly enforced. Being
tardy, failure to follow dress code or not having your student ID means you
have to deal with your
Assistant Principal.

If
you are absent it is your responsibility to: |
- turn in any assignments that were due during your absence.
- schedule a time for any makeup tests or quizzes you missed.
|
Please help yourself.....take notes during class.
Your notes will become your best friend during this class. |

You will
be required to give a short current events report each week. Please be
prepared. |

Daily
Work (classwork, homework, quizzes)

Major
Tests (we will probably have three each semester)

If
you are here the day of a quiz – you take the quiz.

Late
work is accepted, but at a reduced
grade as determined by me.
|
|
Spell
correctly - neatness counts - no abbreviations - use first and last names.
|
|
Write
your answers in complete sentences when instructed.
|
|
Assignments
are due the next time the class
meets at the beginning of the
class unless otherwise instructed.
|
|
If
you are here the day of the test-you take the test.
|
|
If
you are absent the day of the test or do not take the test when it is
scheduled then your test grade goes down as a zero and you have only one
opportunity to make up that zero.

MAKE
UP
WORK
|
If you are absent you must contact me for your make-up
work. Your missed assignments will be put in as Zeros until you
make-up your assignments. I won't chase you down for your make-up
work. You need to deal with it. |
